How do you tell a planet that you're sorry?
Does it matter.. to you? We've enjoyed the best years of this planet's lifespan, and didn't even know how very good that we've had it. The stable yet varied and challenging environment has enabled our species to achieve tremendous capabilities despite ourselves. The changes induced by climactic shift are happening all around us. Think about what you, your family, your community, and your company can do to retain what we can of the stability of this environment that we enjoy and take for granted for the next generations. Choose and use your vehicles wisely and maintain them to run cleanly... Recycle like you had to live with your refuse... Plant more trees, perhaps even gardens and forests on rooftops and on covered parking lots... Use less energy wherever possible, use it efficiently... Encourage your company to use virtual long distance meetings... Work with others to achieve these goals... Take pride in contributing to the planets future health and stability... |
